…so he gingerly approached the fence…..
…sniffed to see what it was……..

…back to exploring the beach……..

…going down a path is so exciting……
…happiness is finding a beach at the end of the path….
…we’re here!……..
…we had an amazing summer morning at Burlington Beach….
…sunshine….big waves…..sand…..a summer picnic……
…Boucle was so happy……
…while on my lap, as I sat on a rock……
…at the lake this morning…….
…happiness……
…we arrive early in the afternoon, so there are not as many people about……
…Boucle has been going to the fair every year since he was a pup…….
…part of his summer………
…two excursions in one day……
…the lake in the morning, and…
…in front of a lovely pond…..in the afternoon……
…beautiful Boucle……..
…sweetie-pie judged that it was just too far…..
…he didn’t want to go past where his back feet can touch the ground……..
…which is ok with me because I would rather be in there with him when it is deep…….
But Wait!!
…he’s turning around……..
…he’s going after it again……
..nope….
…just too far and deep…..
…such a good poodle……
…he knows what he can do……
…eventually….sweetie-pie will be able to fetch sticks far away on his own…….

….Boucle was fascinated by Baxter fetching in the water…….
…wanting to learn exactly how it was done……..
…and longing to be the one fetching too…….
Baxter is a 10 year old Lab. She loved the water since a puppy from day one.
She is a superb fetcher, going out quite a way and then coming back with full energy.
…sweetie-pie would like to do just like Baxter…. 🙂
