I had just pulled down his grooming basket and Boucle knew what was next. So he quietly went to the top of the stairs. Perhaps I wouldn’t notice him….
But indeed I did find him and asked him to go into the other room, and he slowly did, bit by bit, step by slow step….but all on his own power. You would think he was going to be torchured. He then sniffed the shaver…..yes Boucle – it is going to happen……….
Once the haircut gets started, his energy comes back and he willingly stretches out a leg, or arm and is so good . What a patient Boucle.
All Done!!!
Sweetie-pie is all happiness and energy. Its over and he is very proud of himself, he got through it again.
Such a good sweetie-pie……….:)
He is looking great 🙂 Ours are the same, never look forward to it, but fine and dandy once it’s all done.
Thank you Robert!:)
So gorgeous! 🙂
Thank you:)
I have a poodle too (he’s just 9 pounds) but I have never attempted to groom him. Good for you! How do you get him to stay still? Do you do it yourself or require another person?
Hi Vjtiff. I have been doing it since he was a puppy. The first ones were absolutely hilarious and Boucle knew it:).
He is quite good, and sits still and stretches as he needs to. When he shouldn’t move at all, I say ‘don’t move’ and he knows exactly what I mean. 🙂
