Boucle and I are prepared for all kinds of weather. And since he was a puppy he and I have been going out in the rain for walks (not in big winds or storms). In fact, Boucle loves it…thinks it is perfectly normal, and quite a treat.
Yesterday was gusty and with a light rain. Boucle had on his sweater and ducky raincoat, and I had my windbreaker, hat and boots. We both stayed dry quite nicely. Except for Boucle’s pouf, as you can see, it flopped under the rain, and his tail gets wet, so it looks quite raggedy. But we had fun. I love doing going out in the rain, it feels like an adventure, and when we get back inside, we know we had a great fall day.

The outfits you guys have over there are hilarious. Never seen a dog in a raincoat here 😀
We are supposed to be in Spring but it is looking remarkably similar to your Fall outside (only the leaves are green).
Susan, the weather has so much weather here, that many dogs wear sweaters and coats. Some even wear winter boots to keep their paws from the salt. Boucle doesn’t have boots. But he does have some sweaters and this yellow ducky coat has kept him nice and dry on his body when the rain is cold.
Would love to be going through spring right now…..
