Gee…it is very icy back here…..

…whoa…just too slippy…….

…too icy….I want back inside……..!

We got walloped with a big ice storm yesterday.  Trees coated  and downed.  Some streets had every single large tree of the street, house after house, on the ground.  And of course, power lines came down with it. The city had up to 300,000 without power.  My house was hit too, No power all day yesterday. Thankfully, it is back now.  My 20ft juniper is down.  And my front oak had many branches snap and fall on the house.  No damage, and no damage to my car.

Sweetie-pie had a different view of it all.  The backyard. Coated in ice.

….Boucle giving the icy back yard a look around, a gentle walk around and then back to the icy brick pad at the bottom of the stairs.  He was thrilled to be outside, not so thrilled about having to gingerly walk around.  Finally…..came to the conclusion that it was better to be inside than outside.

Nose pressed to the patio door glass…..”I want inside Jane!”
