…sweetie-pie had a splendid day at the beach yesterday……
…he loves his beach shade tent, and with the extra umbrella , sweetie-pie stays nice and cool…….
…and then the in and out of the water is just a splash!……

..Boucle’s new pop up beach shade tent arrived this afternoon….
…he likes it…..
…it folds up into a nice compact disc, light weight for carrying…
…and I have been able to fold it up 2X now quite easily ….
…though I still need a bit more practice on the folding to remember how it is done…..

…he had such a great time this morning……
…early one morning at the lake..
…sweetie-pie looking up at me yesterday at lunch hour….under the umbrella and the maple tree……
…on a trail to the lake……sweetie-pie spotted a toad before I saw it……
…Boucle was on a leash and he pounced on something…….
…I couldn’t see…..
…then..
…a toad jumped out of his paws…….
…I spotted it…..
…Boucle wanted to jump on it again….
…I pulled on the leash and wouldn’t let him…….
…the toad stood very still……so that we would not see him camouflaged and maybe we would think he was a rock…….
…but Boucle watched……patiently…..to see what it would do next…..
…I am sure he wanted to sniff it to see what it was….
…after a minute or two we left the path…….to the beach…..
…the toad safely went on his way…..
…a new experience for sweetie-pie………
…fetching a stick yesterday morning…….
…with the Toronto skyline in the distance……
…sweetie-pie remembers very well how to swim, from last summer’s swimming lesson…..
…his technique last week after a whole winter away from the water was a bit rough…
…but he swam without hesitation and with full confidence……
…yesterday….his technique was wonderful……
…he is loving the swimming in the lake…..
…this summer will be one of his favorite summers…..
…and to top it off…….he ended the day with some cooked bird (chicken)…
…happiness….
…happiness is still drying off after his swim…..
