Back garden days are far and few between this spring. We are late. Normally we have daffodils and hyacinths in bloom by now. Not this year.
So Boucle was especially happy that today was mild enough to go in the back garden.

Fred just had a swim in the frigid waters of Lake Ontario. The sun was drying him off.

The first thing sweetie-pie does as he arrives at the lake……is sniffing…….

and finally….before we leave…….sniffing……..

Happy Boucle on our spring walk by the lake yesterday.
While on our walk, sweetie-pie turned to me, knowing that today is Easter and barked “in our happiness on this fine day, we wish you all a Happy Easter!”

This….this is a look of pure happiness and contentment. He loves being under the umbrella. This is the first day this year that he has been able to lay outside and enjoy the day. And I put his spot there because the ground is cold and damp. And he has a blanket because in the shade it is still very cool.
Sweetie-pie takes tours around the garden, then goes back to his spot and watches me do the garden clean up. He was a very happy poodle yesterday.
