It was lunch hour yesterday.
Boucle just loves to play…..he is ready…..and thinks that if he gets it and shows me his ball, I will play with him…….

Last night I dreamt about lenses all night long!:)
So I did it. Went out this morning to acquire a 35mm lens. At the counter asked how much I would get as a trade in for one of my DX lenses that I never use any more. Quite a sum, so decided to drive all the way back to my place, picked up the lens and then all the way back to Henry’s. Basically the morning and early afternoon. But it was so worth it! I went shopping for a new lens, and didn’t spend a cent on it! And I love it. This is a shot of sweetie-pie at lunch. Taken at F3.5, ISO 400, taken in the shade at 1PM, no adjustment in photoshop to exposure or curves. Just a bit of warming up of the colors. This lens has a very short focusing distance, so I can get really close to sweetie-pie if I want to, using the autofocus. Though I often manual focus my shots. Anyhow, I am very pleased with the lens, good images and value, and very affordable.

It is a gorgeous day today and Boucle and I went down to the Lake.

Boucle loves excursions. Yesterday we drove along Lake Ontario stopping at waterfront parks now and then. This was at the final stop, Burlington Waterfront, and Boucle was one very happy dog.
Boucle and I headed out very early to the Lake this morning. What a gorgeous morning it is. And we walked along the beach, side by side. Boucle likes to stay close by:)

I took out my camera this afternoon and started setting up for a picture. Boucle thought it must be play time, and time to go out. He was looking at the backyard longingly, just waiting for the door to open.
But today, it is 35C and far too hot for my sweetie-pie to romp around outside. So inside he stays. Maybe later, once it has cooled off a bit. 🙂
