….he loved being at the lake.  Boucle misses our lake excursions in the winter.  We don’t go as often as it is often too cold and icy.  But this was a warm day, 8C, and he loved it.

Boucle is sitting and posing for me, rather than eyeing the seagulls on the pier that are in the distance.  So much to see, so much to sniff.

P.S. – he was on leash here for his safe being, but the leash is cloned out.

“Jane – I could tell that you were going somewhere and were going to take me.  I could tell!  Even though you wore your going out somewhere clothes, which normally means that I am not going with you, this morning…. I could tell.  All morning I have been following you around because I could tell.   Normally, when you are ready to leave, I go to my favorite spot on the sofa to snooze and wait until you return.  But this morning, I could tell.

So I am standing at the door in front of you, while you are here with your handbag and keys, and you still have not put the leash on me.  Where’s my sweater! Why do you now look at me that way, all soft and gooey, as if you maybe won’t take me.  But, this morning, I just knew you would.

I want to go with you too!!!!”

Ohhhh….sweetie-pie…… Your sense of knowing what is going on is amazing.  It is like you can sniff in the air what I am going to do.  You were right, I am getting ready to take you……

And Ohh….sweetie-pie….. Your sweater is in my handbag, and so is your leash 🙂  Of course! you are coming with me.
