…so sweetie-pie and I had the fun filled morning at the lake, with Boucle running up and down the beach with the stick….
…later that day…we headed out to a local street festival…..
…but found it wasn’t much….
…so I turned the car around and went back to the lake……..a different waterfront park…..
…and we did a nice walk…..
…sweetie-pie in front of the Toronto skyline…..
…he was completely tuckered out from such a big day….
…happiness….
…he had so much fun……
…such an action star!……….
…beautiful Boucle…….
…the last time sweetie-pie and I were at the beach was Boxing Day, December 26……
…it has been a very cold February…….
…we are on our way to breaking the all time temperature record for February……
…no beach outings in February……
…frigid today ….. another -24C night……
…I have been putting Boucle’s scarf hat on him to keep his ears warm when he goes out into the yard……
…plus his sweater and a jacket too……
…cabin fever is setting in…….
…sweetie-pie is not a fan of flash photography….doesn’t like the bright pops of light…….
…will only cooperate to a point……
…he will stick around….but then do his own thing….
…love his outtakes even more than the actual shots…..

Boucle is a natural explorer. When he sees a path…..he wants to go down it and explore……..
Especially when he thinks this is where we should be going to get to the beach…….
The path is very skinny…….and just a bit further down is a nice wide well trodden path……..
The path we take…..
Boucle – not this path…..come come!
And as happy going down……he is happy coming back……

He just loved that day. It was all an adventure as he was discovering the water and a sandbar.
I am sure he did not want that summer day to end……
