After we got home from the Lake, sweetie-pie was very very smelly. He needed even more than just a rinse off and had a full shampoo bath.

Normally he talks, which is burbling, lamb sounds, when he is excited because he is going and can smell the lake as we approach…..
This time….he burbled all the way home in his excitement that he had seen the Lake again………

…sniffing a tire to see what it is all about……
…spotting two dogs…..and wondering about them……
….hearing a noise….what’s that?……..
Boucle is a very curious poodle…..and the lake is so much fun for him…….
….all sorts of sounds from the seagulls and geese……to the waves of the lake…….
….everything is the same for him…….and everything is new too……..

Finally!
Boucle and I went to the Lake in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day, most of the ice and snow has melted and sweetie-pie has not seen the Lake since New Year’s Day.
He loved it. Was so happy to see geese and seagulls and the waves of the Lake.
This was sweetie-pie at the beginning of the excursion…….
….he just wants to play……..
…when he takes them down from his toy basket…….he pulls ever so gently……
…flops it to the floor…….
…looks at me…..wanting to play….
…and then picks it up and shakes it like crazy……..
….sweetie-pie……..
….ok Boucle…..sit……stay……..
….such a good dog!………
….best dog in the Whole World!…… 🙂
He really is so good.
This year….the backyard is encased in ice and snow…..
….minus -15C is still the norm overnight…….
…..Boucle wants his picture taken outdoors….in the sun and warmth….!
With all the snow and the cold we have had……
….Boucle is dreaming of summer…..
It was so windy and stormy one summer morning at the lake that Boucle got spooked by the wild whooshing and blowing noise….
….and look at sweetie-pie’s ears being lifted……..
