Out for a wonderful walk on an autumn afternoon. I had to keep calling his name to have him turn….trying to get Boucle and the skyline in the same frame…..

…at the lake…….sweetie-pie…….
It was such a beautiful and sunny day today that Boucle and I could not resist going to the lake. Groceries were done this morning, but all the planned chores for this afternoon were chucked in favor of the lake. Boucle and I think it is so much more important to take advantage of fine weather when we get it.
So we went to a waterfront park that we frequent in the spring and the fall. Boucle loved it….especially because we found some new paths to explore…….

Last night in the backyard.
It has been a very hot hot hot week and sweetie-pie has not had as much outdoor time as he would like. Finally last evening it started to cool off, so sweetie-pie grabbed his froggie from his basket and romped around the backyard.

…this is where we were supposed to be yesterday morning…..but the weather it was not to be……
…this is where we are all set to be this morning….and checking the weather…thunderstorms rolling in…….
….so it is not to be…….
…I am sure that sweetie-pie is on the sofa…sleeping……dreaming that he was on the beach….sand between his toes……waves rushing in…….

We have had beautiful weather for the last 2 weeks and every day we have been out to the Lake or on excursions.
This is sweetie-pie this morning, having a great time on the beach…….

Sweetie-pie and I have been out and about exploring new places, new trails, new waterfront parks. Sweetie-pie taking a break to pose to let everyone know where he has been.

…What a day Boucle had! First back to the a wonderful beach, then into the car and we drove along the Niagara Wine Route. Beautiful scenery. Stopped at a fruit stand and Boucle got to explore and sniff all the aisles. Then back in the car, more scenic routes and stopped at a local park with a community pool for a picnic lunch. Boucle loved watching all the children splashing around on a sunny day in the pool.
More driving and then we stopped at the Peninsula Ridge Vineyard where Boucle got out and explored the hills and row of vines.
He loves it. He wants to see the world!
