..three raccoons….their tree home for July……
..in the maple tree in my backyard…
Each year there is at least one that comes and stays for the month of July.
Sometimes, I see babies in the spring.…
This year…three of them…..
…and this morning they were quite noisy…..
…Boucle always lets me know when they arrive…
…he knew……
…he knew we were going to Burlington Beach……….
…such a smart poodle……..
…he knew the moment I pulled out the backpack….
…his excitement growing…..
…more burbling sounds………
…then sweetie-pie talking…..
…when I pulled out the picnic pack…..
…his talking grew higher….and louder…
…jumping in excitement….
…he loves going to Burlington Beach…….
…he sits in the back seat, in the middle so he can see all around through the car windows…….
…and throughout the car ride his head would go from one side to the other…..looking out the window……
…watching the trucks on the highway go by……
…waiting to get to the beach…..
…and here he is……..
…happiness on the beach……
…as good a time as he had hoped it would be…….
…beautiful Boucle………..
…so sweetie-pie and I had the fun filled morning at the lake, with Boucle running up and down the beach with the stick….
…later that day…we headed out to a local street festival…..
…but found it wasn’t much….
…so I turned the car around and went back to the lake……..a different waterfront park…..
…and we did a nice walk…..
…sweetie-pie in front of the Toronto skyline…..
…he was completely tuckered out from such a big day….
…happiness….

….happiness after visiting the lake………

…sweetie-pie on the trail at Webster Falls in the summer……..
…sweetie-pie with his head scarf in the bitter cold, out in the yard for a quick morning visit……..
…he walks very fast in this cold…….
…but his ears are nice and warm….. 🙂
…the last time sweetie-pie and I were at the beach was Boxing Day, December 26……
…it has been a very cold February…….
…we are on our way to breaking the all time temperature record for February……
…no beach outings in February……
…frigid today ….. another -24C night……
…I have been putting Boucle’s scarf hat on him to keep his ears warm when he goes out into the yard……
…plus his sweater and a jacket too……
…cabin fever is setting in…….
…sweetie-pie is not a fan of flash photography….doesn’t like the bright pops of light…….
…will only cooperate to a point……
…he will stick around….but then do his own thing….
…love his outtakes even more than the actual shots…..
