…a little nosing around on Boxing Day……
…sweetie-pie………
We really got hit with a big snowstorm, first one of the season. As I am close to the lake, we received a lot of lake effect snow too. The photos are just at the beginning of the storm. Boucle, is very enthusiastic….and then the snow and cold feels, well snowy and cold, and he likes to get back inside after doing his tour.
Yesterday, was out 3 times shovelling. And Boucle gets his very own track around the perimeter of his backyard. I will be back out today again for a final snow clearing.
Boucle and I trekked through knee deep snows……sometimes finding a cross country ski track……..sometimes not……
It really gets the heart pumping…….
So Boucle and I found a bench and took a break……….

Finally had some sunshine and Boucle knew it. Our week had been filled with storms, first wind and rain storms for days, and then a big snowstorm. Boucle followed me all morning, knowing we would go out in the beautiful sun.
Boucle’s first view arriving at the lake. Look at his happiness….his bouncy joy at seeing the lake 🙂
Dog walking in winter with ice, snow, slush, and bitter cold can be off putting. Delay, delay because there is too much winter outside. So for me to not mind going for walks with sweetie-pie, I need to be warm, cozy and dry….from head to toe.
These are my new dog walking boots. Warm and cozy, and dry. Boots that will make me happy to be out on a cold or snowy winter’s day walking with Boucle.

… A good sniff……..
… and a good lick to see if it is tasty……..
Yes Jane! I could wear this beautiful snazzy new hoody sweater.
Dear Boucle….sadly I have to return it as the neck has a fixed thread and doesn’t stretch. I only noticed it while putting it on your head to try it on. The rest was so cute and fit just fine, and you looked so handsome in it….but..it is going back. I will find an even nicer new sweater for you for this winter.
