….he blinked…:))

So sweet my sweetie-pie.  I just had to post the one where he blinked.

Poor sweetie-pie had just almost had an encounter with a growling, wanting and trying to charge german sheppard.  The german sheppard was on a leash, attached to someone on a motorized chair and really wanted to get at my Boucle, almost tipping the man over.  So in this picture, a few minutes later, Boucle was quite subdued and sticking to me.  These picture are in front of my tulips in the front yard.

Sweet Boucle……….

…look!!..look!! the cats Jane…..!!!

This is the black cat that Boucle is always on the lookout for.  The striped cat is not a regular.

We were in the house and heard shrieking cat calls…well it is spring…  Heading outside to see what all the cat commotion was all about, there we spotted the cats..two of them.  They were ready to do what I call the cat dance.  I quickly went inside and got my D80 with the long lens, and all the settings were off, but took a couple of shots anyhow.  I wanted to capture the cats before they went on their way.

Especially as Boucle was doing a lot of barking and running along the fence line.  They could have gone at any moment!  So I did get a couple of shots and then it was time to go inside.

He really is so so good….all I did was say to Boucle “ok, enough, let’s go inside” and he stopped his barking and came inside with me.  Such a good dog, and he had so much fun barking at the cats.

…Boucle gnawing on wood……..

It is always more fun to do things one isn’t supposed to do….like gnawing on wood.  Boucle has been told many times over the years not to chew on wood, but he so enjoys it.  Given a choice between gnawing on wood or a toy, he will choose wood or a stick each time.  I will tell him, ‘not good’, and he will put it down and walk away from it.  But 10 minutes later you might catch him back gnawing at the wood.  And looking at me.  And then gnawing.  It is a lot of fun getting me to say ‘not good’:)

…sweetie-pie………

…Jane…I am at the door now…….

Beautiful Boucle just stands at the door when he is ready to come in.  It could be freezing or super hot, and he will stand there patiently waiting for me to come to the door.  He never barks, as the beagle across does.  Sweetie-pie just waits, trusting that I will come…..
