The first thing sweetie-pie does as he arrives at the lake……is sniffing…….
……then more sniffing……
and finally….before we leave…….sniffing……..
….sweetie-pie sniffing = happiness………
This….this is a look of pure happiness and contentment. He loves being under the umbrella. This is the first day this year that he has been able to lay outside and enjoy the day. And I put his spot there because the ground is cold and damp. And he has a blanket because in the shade it is still very cool.
Sweetie-pie takes tours around the garden, then goes back to his spot and watches me do the garden clean up. He was a very happy poodle yesterday.
…beautiful Boucle….
Sweetie-pie went to the pet store today. He got food, and treats and toothpaste. He got to sniff up and down every aisle . He is so good….he didn’t try to eat the bags of food, just wanted to sniff. He did sniff one labeled “salmon” quite a bit. I have never given him salmon. He might like it.
It was an intoxicating sniffing day for sweetie-pie. 🙂
I am calling it an opossum. It had a non furry face and a non furry skinny tapering tail.
I let Boucle out into the backyard. A few minutes later, he barked. He rarely barks, only if he sees a C.A.T. Or someone is on the property. Orrrr….something very very unusual.
So I let him in. Then went to the front window to see what he had barked at. Look what he saw! It was an opossum. I quickly grabbed my camera, all the settings were on manual, but there was no time to fiddle, I just pointed and manual focused in the dark. The opossum scurried away. The screen on my camera was black….pure black.
Photoshop helped me pull up the opossum. Isn’t RAW wonderful!
Boucle is the best. He is so good at letting me know. What a treat for me to see this in the city.
